
A hearty sparkling red from Cantina Giardino. Antonio and Daniela De Gruttola seek out plots with old vines and great aspects in Irpinia, high in the hills of Campania, Italy. The grapes ferment naturally without temperature control and fermentation can continue for months. For this sparkling they use a dry base wine and add frozen must from a previous harvest and bottle it to restart the fermentation.
